Hey Karl, took me a while but I assembled a list. Be careful what you ask for!

Transmitters - all JR 2.4 ghz, 28X, XG14, XG8, 10x with 2.4 module
Receivers - all JR, RG613BX, RG812BX, RG1131B, RG712BX
Motor Battery - Gens Ace 5500, HRB 5000, Zippy 5000, Gator 5200
Receiver Battery - 7.4 v , Gator, Power Unlimited
Jetti Switch
ESC - Jetti Meson 90 Lite w/ BEC
Jaccio regulator sometimes
Servos - All JR Rudder - S8411, Aileron and Elevator - S3411, NX3421 All Xbus
Airplanes - Nuance G2, Sebart Prometheus Bipe, Austral, Caelus
Motors - Plettenburg, Hacker Q80, Neutronics, Himax 6330 Pro, Adverun Contra
Props - all Falcon , 21.5 x 13, Contra currently 21 x 20 F, 21 x 20 R
I fly with a tray and currently I’ve got a Progrip and a Secraft transmitter tray

I’ll add that it really doesn’t matter what equipment you decide to go with as long as it works, what really makes a difference is getting out flying and practice a lot. If you can be fortunate enough to have someone who can observe and critique/ coach that’s even better.
On the question of pilot stations, plastic snow fencing is good and it shouldn’t effect the transmission. Also check AMA’s recommended field layout guidelines.

Good Luck, Bob Crump

I’ve got multiple planes to fly and I’ve started working with a simulator to get more stick time and to learn stick movements for more difficult maneuvers. Pretty sure I will be starting out in Intermediate but am excited to get back into it.

So I plan on flying a smaller pattern airplane this off-season and then getting the bigger ones ready to go next spring and summer.
