Hi Sean, I have two questions and a comment. Wasn’t July 9,10 the traditional date? And isn’t the probability of rain much higher in April versus July.
My info indicates around a 30 percent chance of rain in April versus about a 3 percent chance in July.

Thanks, Bob

However, I must report to you that our club members were surprised to discover that the Medford pattern contest was moved from 23/24 April to 9/10 July. As you may remember, I sent you a link to the Rogue Eagles event calendar on 16 December, indicating that we do not have a lot of open dates for a pattern contest.

Our club has about 130 members who enjoy a wide variety of activities during the summer months, and we have two events (a pylon race and a rocket launch) scheduled that weekend. Additionally, D7 has a contest scheduled at OCMA (Steve Hannah) on the same weekend and published their calendar in December, so our contest could not be a D7/D8 shootout.
