Once you get used to switches it becomes second nature. I always put my
rate switch just above my right stick (mode 2). As soon as I do a snap
roll, I turn the switch off with a flick of the back of my index finger.
It's also in the perfect position for turning it off for the spin again
with a fast flip of the index finger.
