Hi all I got this photo from the newspaper this morning. Its rare that we see it this far south.
Here's the caption that was with the photo.

The Northern Lights dance above Hauser Lake in Idaho on Monday. On Saturday, specialists at NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory detected a solar flare from a sunspot that caused a vibrant display of green in the night sky.
