Great pictures of you Sean, and thanks for sharing!
Bob is correct, your "1st Adagio" was flown in the Bay Area, maybe around 1988.   I remember the Adagio, and the color scheme and design looks very similar to what you are calling the JMS.  I also remember Bob flying a Joker! .

Some Sean history (1985-1988):-You flew both FAI and IMAC
-1985'ish I saw Sean fly his black Rossi powered Laser at the Pioneer field in San Jose.  Sean was the first pilot I ever saw fly a pattern, and it is because of Sean that I started flying pattern, and also why after a 25 year leave of all RC, I came back to pattern!.  It's all Sean's fault!  ; )-Sean also had a MK Magic that later became mine.  I believe you sold it to Nick (from Merced) and I got it from Nick.
-I believe you also had a Hipo Tipo.
-And before you left the Bay Arean, in ~1988, you made and flew your first Adagio.

Best regardsDerek...

Rob,No, I believe that I maidened the Adagio in Hawaii where I was stationed from 1990-93. While I was stationed in Moffett Field (San Jose) from 1985-88, I was flying a 60-size Dalotel built in South Africa (took 1st in the IMAC Nationals in Dublin, CA in 1985 with it), and/or a Laser and JMS (took 1st at EBRC FAI in 1987 with the JMS); that's where I met Derek Emmett, and we flew at many contests at the time.Art,yes, the paint schemes were my own design: fuse was painted, wings were covered with Monokote. Thanks,Sean

Subject: Re: [NSRCA-dist8] D8 2021 Champions Great pics Sean! Everybody looks good at the starting line! In the late 80’s we were living in Citrus Heights and I went to a few contests in the Bay Area. I think there was someone who was flying an Adagio at one of those contests. Was that you? Was there someone else flying your airplane? Thanks, Bob
