Rob,
No, I believe that I maidened the Adagio in Hawaii where I was stationed from 1990-93. While I was stationed in Moffett Field (San Jose) from 1985-88, I was flying a 60-size Dalotel built in South Africa (took 1st in the IMAC Nationals in Dublin, CA in 1985 with it), and/or a Laser and JMS (took 1st at EBRC FAI in 1987 with the JMS); that's where I met Derek Emmett, and we flew at many contests at the time.

yes, the paint schemes were my own design: fuse was painted, wings were covered with Monokote.

Great pics Sean! Everybody looks good at the starting line! In the late 80’s we were living in Citrus Heights and I went to a few contests in the Bay Area. I think there was someone who was flying an Adagio at one of those contests. Was that you? Was there someone else flying your airplane?

3rd: ca 1991 - with my own design, "Adagio" in Hawai, YS-120.
