[NSRCA-dist8] Redmond contest

Hi gang
As some of you know, it appears the Redmond Pattern Contest will not happen this year.  I have been holding off this announcement as we are hoping the FAA will grant permission to fly above the 400' limit.  So far, no such luck.  The Redmond club is continuing to petition the FAA .
If in fact we are granted permission to hold the contest,  we will have to select a date other than Sept 18-19, which is the weekend of the club Float Fly.
I will keep everyone in the loop.
