[NSRCA-dist8] K -Factor

I have a tendancy to side with Jim on this, and here is why. Our club used to have a news letter that due to disinterest of the ones writing the letter, it was shelved. Shortly after, club meetings were not attended as well as before and I think due to not being involved in the news of the club. I used to get the hard copy of the K-Factor and when it arrived I would sit down and read it cover to cover. I still have those mags. Now since I chose to access them electronically I hardly ever read them. I guess I lost interest. So what I am trying to say is, be careful of secluding the envolvement of the members even in such a minor thing as the K-Factor. Producing a monthly magazine can be accomplished even if some districts don't have anything to write about or to report. I do like the idea of solicitating subjects from members. I'm sure a lot of them have some very interesting topics or stories to tell.

It's clear that you and the other district VPs have made a big effort to improve the content of K-Factor over the past couple of years. That doesn't just happen, it's a time consuming task to write an informative and interesting piece. I'm in favor of retaining the quality and going for six times a year.
