[NSRCA-dist8] NSRCA-dist8 Digest, Vol 63, Issue 1

I have used the Hacker A50-12S for well over 400 flights with a Jeti Spin
Pro 75 Opto ESC with absolutely no issues at all. The ESC's braking is very
good, too. A Jeti w/ BEC would be an excellent choice, as well. Esprit Model
has sales going on every few weeks on Jeti ESC's.

Oooo, thanks for all the replies. Sorry I forgot to tell you the motor. A
Hacker A50-12S for the BJ Craft Monolog 70. Rec from F3aunlimited is for
the Castle Phoenix Ice Lite 100, but can't find one.

You might consider a speed controller such as the OS 1100 or the Jeti or
Hacker Spin 99, both of which are fully programmable. It is advisable to
have a pretty good cushion on Amps when it comes to speed controllers.
Also, these three controllers can be used in pretty much any pattern power
combo. Ok, there's my two cents worth.

Karl,

It's a good thing you can't find one....they suck. The only good thing is
Castle will replace them on warranty after they blow.

I would get the OS. It will work great with that motor. They only have an
issue with the big outrunners.
