Take a look at this

something like this going at the Monroe Expo

and Freestyle events. More info to follow. Anticipated contact

Thank you Gordon. If
it weren't for the efforts of people like
you, Meri and Rex I wouldn't have much to
write about. Unless I hear otherwise I'll be
writing the column for awhile.

We (D8) need a indoor pattern contest.
I have a mini-Breeze itching for a
contest.

I
get it, Jim is to
old.... Just kidding.

I would
gladly volunteer and
intend to in the
future. However with
two teenagers and a
bi-monthly column my -
non flying - plate is
a bit full.

Both
Rex and I have
done a lot of
brain storming
on this issue
and we have
approached one
of our pilots
about this
position. I did
this for the 4
years before Rex
and I think its
a lot of fun.
The biggest
responsibility
is writing the
k-factor
article. I feel
our newer
pattern pilots
are perfect
candidates
because they can
speak to the
beginners and
help draw new
pilots into the
game. This
position allows
the candidate to
put his or her
own
"fingerprint" on
D8. So jump in!
Rex and I will
help!!!

Is
everybody

being volunteered for

Rex, did
anyone step up
to take over
as D-8 VP? I
assume your
tenure ended
yesterday.. Do
I have to
volunteer to
do this again?
As a last
resort I would
do it if a
vacancy
is eminent.
I've always
had kind of a
non-conventional
relationship
with the
world around
me and
question how
well I would
fit in
nationally
considering
the
NSRCA's growth
over the past
25 years.

[NSRCA-dist8]
D8 VP
Position

Folks

My second term
as D8 VP ends
at the end of
this year. By
the rules, a
new
VP has to
replace me.

It's time to
put someone
else in this
position. If
you'd like to
be the
next VP, by
all means let
us know.

We need to get
this sorted
out for the
new year.

Rex Lesher

D8 VP
