You confir with the board and vote on things that need to be dealt with. Right now we are dealing with the sequence committee....getting the members on it approved....that takes a vote of all officers.
You write the D8 Kfactor article every month....which is pretty simple if people will send you pics and a little info once in a while. Deal with the contest schedule once a year....It's really pretty simple. D8 runs like a well oiled machine....pretty much everyone pitches in and does their thing.
It's a good way to find out how it all works....I'll never complain about the hierarchy again!
You should do it, Tim. Each term is two years. Gordon and I1e both did it for four years, but that was because D8 was in pretty bad shape when we took over. And there were a lot of changes taking place at the time. The whole NSRCA was behind on a lot of things back then....like six years of the same sequences. The D8 articles were pretty much nonexistent. I think you'd like it. Besides, Gordon and I are only a phone or email away. I think it would be good to have someone that's not in Masters or FAI in the position. It sends the message that there are no barriers or elitist attitudes in D8.

What are the responsibilities of a VP and what are the qualifications required to be considered?
