OK then... I will secure that date... Aug 20 & 21, 2010 for the contest.. Just so you all know that there is a field in close proximity which has the even bands so we will need to either have odd frequencies or 2.4 gear... Once I have the date secured with the owner I will get the sanction from the AMA and eventually will need a rough number for the overnighters and RV's... One of the great things about this field is if you want to come Thursday or even Wednesday and practice it will be fine!

  Sooo... Here is the deal... check out  http://cascadefamilyflyers.com/index.html  It is the about the best field I have ever flown on. (Like Pattern Heaven!!). Sporting a 100 foot long by 3000 (like 3 thousand) foot wide tight grass runway with covered pits and flight boxes...Plus another 2400 foot runway at 45 degrees if the wind shifts  (which it usually doesn't).. There are no trees to worry about... even if you fly WAAYYY out...!! I can get the field for a Pattern contest virtually any weekend we might want... Did I hear a new Venue for the Can Am????     Hartley.... what's going on with the Canadian schedule on the August 13/14 weekend?  I see there is a contest 
    on Aug 20/21 in Calgary, but I doubt that would cause any conflict.   I am tending to lean toward the weekend of August 20/21.  Would that work for you John?
