I was just reviewing my appointments list and note 8 pattern contests plus a
judging seminar without any Canadian dates.
Lee got me a phone for the truck and I even got it to work through the blue
tooth thingy. She also took me down to get a passport and the new plane
should be flying in April so I guess I'm all set. Now if I can only learn to
fly reverse coordinated half rolls and stay on line.

Sooo... Here is the deal... check out
http://cascadefamilyflyers.com/index.html  It is the about the best field I
have ever flown on. (Like Pattern Heaven!!). Sporting a 100 foot long by
3000 (like 3 thousand) foot wide tight grass runway with covered pits and
flight boxes...Plus another 2400 foot runway at 45 degrees if the wind
shifts  (which it usually doesn't).. There are no trees to worry about...
even if you fly WAAYYY out...!! I can get the field for a Pattern contest
virtually any weekend we might want... Did I hear a new Venue for the Can
Am????  Please let me know a selection of possible dates and I will make it

Hartley.... what's going on with the Canadian schedule on the August 13/14
weekend?  I see there is a contest
on Aug 20/21 in Calgary, but I doubt that would cause any conflict.   I am
tending to lean toward the weekend of August 20/21.  Would that work for you
