[NSRCA-dist7] 8th Annual Wild West Pattern Shootout - Bear Mountain Flyers - Arvin, CA

Hi everyone,

We are only a few days away from the 8th Annual Wild West Pattern Shootout hosted by the Bear Mountain Flyers at Arvin, CA on April 23rd & 24th.

If you haven’t already, please preregister on the NSRCA website (https://tinyurl.com/4s9rn2fs <https://tinyurl.com/4s9rn2fs>).  Waiting until the last minute to register can cause numerous problems ranging from the contest being cancelled (due to low advance registration), to difficulties with line layout, and planning for food for the event.

We have a great BBQ planned for Saturday night, Dale is smoking a beef brisket, and a pork butt (for pulled pork), and Nancy is making the side dishes (all homemade): cole claw, Old Settlers Beans (a BIG hit last BBQ), several salads and desserts (including her Rum cake), and my Banana Sour Cream Coffee Cake. Rumor has it that Randy Brunette may bring Caramel Bars. Nancy has even hinted about bringing wine to go with the meal! We don't have a price for the meal; rather, we're going to put out a donation bowl and ask people to contribute whatever they think is appropriate.
