[NSRCA-dist7] OCMA Contest update

Hi Everyone,

I am watching the weather closely, as I am sure you are.  Right now it
still looks like we might miss the rain, as we are on the very southern
edge of the storm that is supposed to blow through central and northern
Cal.  Sunday is looking good so far, so let's keep our fingers crossed.
I'll keep everyone posted and I'll let everyone know Thursday morning if we
are going to reschedule.

Since it looks like it might be overcast on Saturday morning and the sun
won't be a problem, we really want to get going early (especially since the
forecasts show any chance of rain to be in the afternoon).  Be prepared for
an 8:30am wheels up.  I want to get signups done by 7:30.

If you haven't already pre-registered, then please do so.  It will help
Bill get the contest set up in the scoring system and we'll get off to a
faster start in the morning.

Lunch will be provided at no extra charge on both days.

Anyone wanting to stay overnight at the field will be able to park in the
lot next to the flying site.  It's several hundred yards from the pits.
Let me know if you want to do that and I will give you more info.

The field will be open for practice on Friday, so the gate will be
unlocked.

There is supposed to be a Mud Run event in the private parks next to the
field so expect traffic and parking attendants on your way in to the
field.  Just tell them you are going to the RC field if they try and direct
you into their parking lot.

Anyway, let's keep our fingers and toes crossed and I'll see you out there
Friday-Sunday.
