Then I guess there was a misunderstanding. When we originally talked about scoring a few months ago you guys were going to bring the equipment and set up the contest. Others were going to do the inputting. That is how I understood it. I was then asked by others if they could use the contest to do their first "solo" running of the Scribe System. I agreed and plans were made to use it instead. A Pattern model got destroyed transporting the huge Scribe boxes from BMF. That was pretty upsetting. Then at the last minute the Scribe was cancelled. I was pretty frustrated with the whole thing. All these issues plus the very low number registered pushed me to cancel it. I can assure you this won't happen next year as I will stay with reliability. Sorry if any of this reflected on you and Mike.

I too love the Riverside contest. That is why for last year's event when I was asked by the President of the club to help them out, I did. So did many others, the Greear's included, helping to make it their 25th Annual. The club has asked me to CD it next year so I will make sure all is smoother.

I apologize to all who were looking forward to the event this year. I promise it will return next year and be as good an event as possible.

Sometimes difficult to line someone up to do it. Thanks to those of you that do! It is appreciated! Hopefully we can get Riverside back on track for next season! It's the field I flew at when I first moved to California. I enjoy as I think most do, that contest.
