Michael,

Welcome back to pattern! We had a contest at EBRC a number of years ago...
the only problem is that we would hit the afternoon sun since we face west.
If you're up for hosting a contest we're always up for helping and
attending...

My suggestion is to attend a couple of contests either as a competitor or as
a spectator and then introduce yourself and lets take it from there...

Subject: [NSRCA-dist7] help in starting contest.

Hey out here in pattern land. I am a previous novice competitor years back
in district 8 getting district runner up at age 17. Currently I am getting
back into pattern but wanted to help promote the sport and start a contest
at my local club~ ! Meaning a new contest for district 7 at EBRC field in
Livermore. I was going thru the regs to find info and I see that I would
have to become a CD in order to advance the idea with current field
management. I just wanted to get your guys take on helping a guy out here
get this started, Even though I may have to re-enter pattern at sportsman
level this year. If your interested in helping a new contest get started,
please let me know your contact details and if you have some input to help
me approach this with my club and the ama.

Thanks in advance.
