Hi Bill,

I'm writing in case you don't already know about Jim Brown's 
current condition. I know a guy who's in the same club as Jim and he gives my 
updates. The latest I've heard is that Jim has cancer in his bone marrow. Some 
guys wanted to bring him to the field in a wheelchair but he was too weak. He is 
now or soon will be staying in a nursing home. Apparently the prognosis is that 
he won't live very much longer. He is around 80 years old.
