Hey Bill,
The pattern fliers in MD all 'associate' with D2 now anyway. This is a provision adopted by the NSRCA several years ago; that members could effectively join a district of an adjoining state if they so choose. So, in a sense, we're only formalizing what's already happening. Those directly affected are unanimously in favor. In reality, we're only talking about 4 guys: Archie S., Chris M., Don G. and Steve F., so the numbers are small. DE is just an exercise, as there are no active pilots in that state, to our knowledge.
I don't know or can't think of any con's. Actually, the rumor mill says that this was supposed to happen many years ago, but we dropped the ball. Not this time; respondants are unanimously in favor in D2, so I'll see it's done.

Tim,

What are the precieved pros and cons for Delaware and Maryland joining? I don't hold an option on the subject. In saying that, if its better for Pattern and it's better for D-2, then I vote Yes.

Thanks,
