Here's an update for the first D1 pattern contest of 2017 in
Jackson, NJ. Long-range weather forecasts 75 degrees F with mostly
sunny skies. The flying site is in good condition and the club
plans to make it even better by getting the runway rolled prior to
the event. This flying site is well outside the recent temporary
30 mile no-fly restriction zone imposed while President Trump spent
a weekend golfing at the Trump National Golf Club site in <span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);font-family:Arial;font-size:small;font-style:normal;font-variant-ligatures:normal;font-variant-caps:normal;font-weight:normal;letter-spacing:normal;text-align:start;text-indent:0px;text-transform:none;white-space:normal;word-spacing:0px;background-color:rgb(255,255,255);text-decoration-style:initial;text-decoration-color:initial;display:inline!important;float:none">Bedminster, New Jersey (
