I think, regrettably, that is the right call to make considering the weather pattern and forecast.  Hopefully the event can be rescheduled for later in the year and continue the long tradition of an OCM/Lakehurst contest.

Folks,

  Rain arrived in the local area last Tuesday evening, has been mostly persistent, and expecting to continue on through upcoming Monday.   Therefore, the Oasis Pattern Contest scheduled for Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the Ocean County Modeler's field in Jackson, NJ  is officially cancelled.
