<div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">For the NSRCA judging committee and/or experts, here are some questions that came up at the D2 Pattern Seminar. Most are answered in the new rules approved, but others may have interpretations necessary. The drift question in the stall turn may be related to (1) drift out of the box and (2) judge interpretation of immediate when establishing a wind correction angle after the stalled maneuver (versus integrating a pitch angle change during the turn to establish that attitude). </div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Thanks in advance and looking forward to the first D2 contest of the season at Kinston, NC!</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><div><div>1. FAI vs AMA</div><div>Which rules do we use for each class and what are the basic differences? There is a lot of information being presented at the meetings, in the AMA magazine, and in the FB forums. What is the ruling on acceptable takeoff angle?</div><div>The sequence descriptions stated a gradual climb out yet that is very subjective and some have received "dings" for this. FAI only allows 10S 42.56 volts. If FAI, Masters, and Advance are now governed by FAI, are those classes limited to 10S? What about Sportsman and Intermediate?
