<html><head><meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"></head><body dir="auto">I found the key to soldering anything is to tin the plug and get a generous amount of solder on the wire. Heat the wire so the solder is fluid and then lay it on the tab and let the heat from the wire/solder to heat the plug under it. If you heat the plug tabs you’ll just melt the plug. 10g is a pita anyway, that’s why my systems use 12g.
