<p class="MsoNormal">Well, reading through the FAA Proposal, it is nice to see our fixed flying sites will (likely) be recognized and therefore exempted. I still would like to see the Class G airspace (and others) altitude restriction settle down to be what
we already have prior to all this crap. It also seems the days of flying at the local schoolyard or park would be a goner. Heading down to a nearby lake for some quick float flying looks to be over too. With a 400 ft radius restriction on limited remote
ID, can’t use that for local flying. Complying with the standard remote ID will be difficult and/or expensive for existing equipment. Maybe technology over time will make it viable.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">As always, I like the part about law enforcement and people using drones for nefarious purposes. Remote ID won’t help there. First this the “bad guy” will disable or bypass is that tracking system. Seems to me we are being punished for
the idiots of the world out there and the possible criminal element that has not yet surfaced.</p>

throughout the remote ID rule process to include voting privileges as a member of the Remote ID Aviation Rulemaking Committee. We are reviewing this notice of proposed rulemaking on remote ID, however, an early read indicates that some of our proposals were

serial number complying with the FAA requirements.<br>

I don't know if any current radios could/would comply, but I am sure the Airtronics SD-10G that I use for pattern would not.<br>
