I’m paraphrasing a bit but that was the gist of it. And I’m not saying I agree with all of that. Probably some of it though. So I wouldn’t be too sure on what you think is the opinion of the Silent Majority.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">In my opinion in an organization like the NSRCA transparency is everything. Everything. I can’t for the like of me think of one thing this organization should be keeping from it’s membership. Can you? But let me give you an example. I was considering throwing my hat in the ring for one of the positions up for election. I contacted my DVP to ask who was currently nominated. I wanted to know because if there was already somebody nominated that I could support I wouldn’t bother running. I was told that they would not release that info until the nominations were closed. Huh?? For the life of me I could not figure that one out. That info was not to be released to an NSRCA member? I decided if they felt that much need to control the elections I really didn’t need to bother.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">We are drawn together, at least I think, because of our love for RC Precision Aerobatics. I don’t think it is because of a love for the NSRCA. In my opinion the NSRCA is only a tool which we can use to improve the activity that we love, RC Aerobatics. From time to time that tool needs to either be modified, or discarded and replaced with a better tool. Not much different then the ongoing evolution of pattern planes. I am never going to walk away from flying and competing in RC Aerobatics because of anything involving the NSRCA. But I am from time to time going to point out what I see as an improper direction the NSRCA might be headed. If that makes me childish to some, then so be it.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Everybody have a Happy New Year!
