<DIV>Agree with the pull – push issue. The K-Factor takes a lot of pulling, log
in (site doesn’t remember login info – have to look it up), select K-Factor,
select download, select issue, download & open – hunt for log-out button
when finished. Then read pdf using another clunky program – expand, scroll, flip
page too soon, etc. There may be easier ways but it isn’t obvious, not only am I
too lazy to print it – I wonder what the cumulative cost of printer supplies is
for a years worth for an individual or total membership. I understand the reason
for doing it and support that – just really don’t like it. </DIV>

<DIV>The computer folks have made the transition and seem to tolerate
inefficiencies well (if it’s on a PC it’s got to be better BS), I don’t and
don’t want to adapt to junk. That being said, I like to read the newspaper where
I can scan topics then go back and read those I find interesting in detail. My
subscription includes an online version and it’s been absolutely terrible! Now
the point of this rant – they (Houston Chronicle) have adapted a new online
format. Click the link and there’s the front page – wheel down as you wish,
won’t pass the bottom – click the advance arrow (big & on the side) – flips
to the next page starting at the top. Searchable in a variety of ways for quick
info. I don’t have a clue as to what software generated / delivers this – but it
is absolutely user friendly! Hope we can afford and move to something
similar.</DIV>
