I went through a long lawsuit under the<br>driver privacy protection act and won when my wife's abusive ex called the<br>local police department and he asked for her address, and one of the<br>officers in the department ran her name through the drivers license database<br>and gave it to him. We had gone through a lot to keep our address from him,<br>and the only thing that had her name and address on it was her license.<br>Anything else had a post office box listed on it, as the state DOT would not<br>allow a PO Box as an address.
