Top or bottom is fine in either leg. Roll on downline will be the
same direction as the upline for each leg. You are correct in that
you must be inverted through the 1/2 loop and of course upright on
exit.
Advanced 2016 schedule. In reading the maneuver
description the 1/4 rolls can be in either direction. So
in the 1st vertical leg the plane top can face you after
the 1/4 roll and 2nd vertical leg you could see the bottom
of the airplane. Does it matter the combination as long as
the center 1/2 loop is inverted? I want to make sure to
practice this correctly.
