It always must be a business decision. I am sure that Muncie will be
better off financially with a schedule that maximizes attendance.
AFIK, the AMA leadership considers the best options for the whole
membership. <br>
Since I have not been active in quite a while I have not considered
the business aspects of Pattern lately. It does not appear to me
that there is much effort in trying to grow it as there used to be?

If push comes to shove, it can be taken on the road but that is a
whole lot more work and expenses. I respectively suggest that a
flanking strategy be used rather than going head-to-head with the
AMA. "The needs of the many are more important than the needs of
the few".<br>
This message was sent from a workshop that is proud to have served
some of the greatest folks in the Sport. <br>

<div>The AMA doesn't set the Nats schedule, the SIGs do. They
each get one vote. The Nats dates WERE June 28th- July 2 which
would have been horrible. AL and NSRCA board are to be
commended for getting us dates that are only a week off from the
norm. </div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>This date is also not set in stone yet. The AMA does have to
vote on it. It's merely the proposed schedule that's been
submitted collectively by the SIGs. </div>

</div>
<div>Complaining is likely to make this worse not better. They're
already moving Camp AMA to accommodate us. </div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>We have one of the more coveted spots (late July) on the Nats
calendar so it's not surprising the other SIGs would want to
occasionally shift things around. If we were part of a less
fortunate Sig we'd feel pretty slighted that the schedule never
moves. </div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>I'm personally more concerned that we won't get our old spot
back in the future. If we're not careful, this could be the new
norm. <br>
