I could write a small novelette here about Bob Kane, the extraordinary effort, time commitment, and planning that he put in to run the Nats for us, but the general message would be lost. Bob sacrificed two years of HIS hobby, flying pattern, so that we could
better enjoy ours. He deserves more thank you’s for this effort than we can possibly give him.

<div>In addition to the Thank You’s, let’s also NOT give him the back seat driving, hindsight inspired diatribe of critique that we seem so willing to throw forth after these events conclude. He did a fantastic job, and did so with numerous hurdles thrown
in his path.</div>
