Specific braking is desired at the bottom radius and downlines of maneuvers to attain constant speed throughout maneuvers, a judging criteria in FAI related to smoothness and gracefulness, I'm told.</div>

The speed controller was programmed by an expert for "appropriate" braking, although I don't recall the exact settings.</div>
