<DIV>Ok. I switched to electric for Pattern about 5 years ago.</DIV>
<DIV>However, I do fly a few smaller planes with glow engines and do
have engines up to YS170.</DIV>

<DIV>My trusty 15 years old Kavan geared starter is not strong enough to turn
over a .61 size engine on compression</DIV>
<DIV>I do have belt driven BigCup starter for giant scale also, but don't
use much.</DIV>

<DIV>What goes bad in these starter?</DIV>
<DIV>I am ordering parts from Sig manufacturing since they show all the parts
for Kavan geared starter in stock.</DIV>
