By the time way played back around to the clubhouse (9th hole) I was out of balls. His little helper came running full blast at me... "You come with me, You come with me"... That is how I met the LT... He asked me where all the balls went as he pointed to my empty bucket and I replied, "back on the course, sir". He asked specifically where on the course and I said, "Look some are in the woods, but most went in the water and I wasn't about to go after them.". He was getting pissed and I was only an E-4, but with a little bit of an attitude perhaps and way too much humor for my own good... The LT asked, "What the hell are you doing playing my course with a bucket of
balls?", and I replied, "You have any idea how much it would cost me if I played with my own balls?". He smiled, then asked me to never come back or he would discuss my golf game with my Commanding Officer....</SPAN></div>

<DIV>When did I take up golf? Well, I actually started in high school, but didn't play regularly until I went on USAF active duty. I stopped playing after I left active duty, planning to take it up again when I got old and couldn't do all the active exercise stuff, like running, tennis, squash and racket ball. Well, I don't run, play tennis, squash or racket ball anymore, so maybe it is time to take up golf again.

<DIV>Used the Dynatron, aka, Old Meat Grinder (OMG, for short), on the spinner, and still nothing. Nearly depleted the lipos. Changed plugs...nada, not a pop. Checked the throttle servo set-up, re-adjusting the linkage. Opened up the chin cowl, retraced all electrical connections, everything seemed fine. Maybe the IBEC has finally failed me, afterall, it's 4 years old. Removed the plug and squirted gas in the hole, and finally it popped. Well, it looked like the ignition was working okay....IBEC has to be fine.....mayhaps! It may be the OS CDI; but it's brand new.....Very frustrating since the OS just works. What the hell am I doing that I'm not supposed to?? Is it something simple or something complex???</DIV>

<DIV>Images of OS GT33 #1 danced in my head. At exactly 5 runs, same as the number of runs on #2, the first 33 developed a cracked backplate and refused to run, requiring a trip to Hobby Services. It has worked flawlessly since.....NAH, Can't be...what are the chances of THAT!</DIV>
