The NSRCA board met tonite and agreed to fund the US F3 rep, Derek Koopowitz, to attend and vote at the meeting in April. There are many issues at FAI that could affect us in the future.</font></div>

<div>In addition, because of the proliferation of TM enabled radio gear, some of which has flight safety telemetry that cannot be turned off, the BOD approved an urgent rules change proposal to allow flight safety telemetry in AMA contests. This is being closely coordinated with the AMA Contest Board, and their chairman, John Fuqua, was part of the meeting. The new rule will read:</div>

functions. Any telemetry or other types of radio feedback to the pilot or the
caller such as airspeed, position, GPS coordinates, motor rpm, etc, are
prohibited during competition. Telemetry that does not give a competitive
advantage to the pilot, such as receiver battery voltage warnings, radio interference,
radio malfunctions, etc, is permitted.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span><span style='line-height: 200%; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 10pt;'>Telemetry
data shall not be used as a basis to request a re-flight.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Auto pilot control utilizing inertia, light,
gravity, or any other type of terrestrial reference is prohibited. Automatic
control sequencing (preprogramming) or automatic control timing devices are
prohibited.</span><span style="line-height: 200%; font-size: 10pt;"> </span><span style='line-height: 200%; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 10pt;'>A
