</o:shapelayout></xml><![endif]--></head><body lang=EN-US link=blue vlink=purple><div class=WordSection1><p class=MsoNormal>Last night I attended a club meeting where about 6 members (new pattern flyers) were inquiring about judging certification.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>As a result, I just checked out the judging certification material on-line for the first time.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>It appears the certification video is not part of the downloadable materials.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Is that correct?<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>In my opinion the video is one of the most important parts of getting certified.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>So if I’m a new pattern flyer I can get certified without ever watching a video or attending a certification class?<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>In my opinion the video should be available to view online (if it isn’t already) and everyone (especially new judges) should be required to attend a seminar to get certified.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>I’ve attended about 4 certification classes in the past and I always benefited from the judging seminar.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Is D4 planning a certification test this spring?<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>My 2 cents.<o:p></o:p></p></div> <BR>
