<P>Certainly desirable (maybe should be a requirement?) to see video, and participate in a group session for initial certifcation.</P>

<P class=MsoNormal>Last night I attended a club meeting where about 6 members (new pattern flyers) were inquiring about judging certification.</P>

<P class=MsoNormal>As a result, I just checked out the judging certification material on-line for the first time.</P>

<P class=MsoNormal>It appears the certification video is not part of the downloadable materials.</P>

<P class=MsoNormal>In my opinion the video is one of the most important parts of getting certified.</P>

<P class=MsoNormal>So if I’m a new pattern flyer I can get certified without ever watching a video or attending a certification class?</P>

<P class=MsoNormal>In my opinion the video should be available to view online (if it isn’t already) and everyone (especially new judges) should be required to attend a seminar to get certified.</P>
