Hey Everyone,

This is Kevin Young from JTEC Radiowave and as some of you know Mark has asked me to be the assistant team manager for the worlds. As a team we are currently working on a few different items to help support the team and raise some much needed money. We have been tossing around some ideas and have come up with a few items that we will sell at events and through some of the online resources that we have. Peter, you mentioned getting some stickers made up with the team logo and such, and actually they are being cut right now. B&E graphix really stepped up and gave us a hell of a deal on getting some stickers. They are cutting 400 of them right now so hopefully we will see them in the next week or two. Another thing that we starting to do is to offer a Team USA stick airplane that Jason was nice enough to draw up and my families business JTEC Radiowave was kind enough to donate the materials and time to cut out on our laser. Currently the stick plane is available through JTEC Radiowave @ http://www.jtecrc.com/teamUSA_F3A.html and Shulman Aviation http://www.shulmanaviation.com/index.php. for the beer drinking bunch I am also going to start working on getting the logo layed out to be engraved on some large beer mugs which will also be available through JTEC.

We are working our butts off to the all the t-shirt stuff squared away as quick as possible so hopefully we will have them available in the next few weeks as well. Also, we are rounding up a bunch of goodies to get some sweet raffle planes going.

Thanks,

Kevin Young

From: charlierock@me.com
Date: Thu, 13 Dec 2012 20:55:43 -0600
To: nsrca-discussion@lists.nsrca.org
Subject: Re: [NSRCA-discussion] F3A team website

Agree totally with Peter!! (13+ pay periods * 184 = 2400 * 25 = 60000).

It would also be awesome if you could sell some nice vinyl stickers of the team USA logo maybe with an "I Proudly Support" added into the graphic somewhere artistically appropriate to distinguish supporters from competitors... Feel free to price gouge so that the sale of the stickers is a profitable operation...

It's correct in the Oct/Nov and December issues (per my article) so hopefully it won't be an issue. We're just getting back to start working on it again and hopefully making it a more permanent site. The purpose for changing the URL was to put it in sync with a host of other FAI Team sites (TeamUSAF3A, TeamUSAF3B, TeamUSAF3J, etc...)
