just discovered that there was an event right in my home state of Connecticut!
If this happens again next year it looks like my old Kaos may fly again…<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'>Just one thing I’m a bit
confused about however: I thought the reason why we stopped flying the old /
loud / ballistic planes was because they had such a high noise footprint. It
was felt that this would cause the loss of flying fields. The “solution”
was to move towards the turnaround patterns and the big, quiet, slow(er), 2-meter,
pregnant guppy airplanes (which is what we did). Why is it OK to fly fast, make
lots of noise and require lots of airspace again?<o:p></o:p></span></p>
