I clean all the grease out of the motor and gearbox, and then fill all the teeth in planetaries, ring, and sun gear with grease, and put it back together. I’ve got gearboxes with well over 500 flights and no abnormal wear. At about 500 flights, the needle bearings are definitely worn, and easy to replace. Should I remove it all and re-pack it with the same amount of grease, or leave it like it is?
