I think that was me!<br>
I have either 2 or 3 left. <br>
The price is $150 each, plus shipping. They are YS-140FZ's. <br>
All less than 500 flights (data with engine provided), I plan to
start verifying that they are usable and not junk on Monday. I am
going to check out and run each before they leave me. If you
purchase any, they may be returned for refund less shipping. I have
found the YS-140 FZ to be powerful and reliable. It is not a shaker
like the L and it is not as powerful or as temperamental as a DZ. A
flying buddy installed one in a Goldberg Sukoi and forgot to make an
access hole to adjust the needle. He flew it all season without
needing to adjust the needle. Of course, it was under propped.<br>
<br>
I would rather not sell to a beginner in RC. YS 4 strokes are not a
good place to start in RC!<br>
<br>
I have simply got too old and clumsy to deal with fuel airplanes
under field conditions...<br>
Feel free to email or call 336-685-9606.<br>

<font face="Arial">Over the past few weeks, I seem to remember a
couple
fo YS 140's being listed. I have gotten started on my
12-year-old
Cermark Pitts S2B 1/4 scale, and find that this engine would be
just
what the doctor ordered. Are these engines still available? Or
does
someone have one they will part with. If so, pleae contact me

Turns out, when I was in 3rd grade in 1946, we lived outside
Gainesville, FL, across Archer Road from Stengle Field, a grass
airstrip owned by Carl Stengle. During that time, Curtis Pitts
teamed
up with Carl and his flying school, and was flying a little red
biplane
out of Stengle field. I used to go out and watch him toss that
plane
all over the sky, little knowing what Curtis would become. I
have been
in touch with Stengle's son, and he confirmed that the pilot
was,
indeed Curtis Pitts. I have been back to Gainesville, and there
is a
Steak & Shake where our house was, and a strip mall in place
of the
airfield. Ah, progress. ;-{(<br>

So I am in the process of re-creating one of my childhood
dreams, in
miniature. Any help on the 140 will be greatly appreciated...<br>
