<DIV>I have one of the TP820CD chargers and mine is working fine. There is
a LONG thread about it on RC Groups</DIV>

<DIV>I like the following:</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>2 independent ports</DIV>
<DIV>higher charge rates</DIV>
<DIV>built in balancers that you can use or not use, your choice</DIV>
<DIV>built in discharger</DIV>
<DIV>ability to read pack or cell IR without charging</DIV>
<DIV>12-->24V input</DIV>
<DIV>firmware upgradeable via USB port</DIV>
<DIV>
<DIV>-lots of customizable parameters per memory position</DIV>
<DIV>-20 memory positions per port</DIV></DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I dislike the following:</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>-max 8s per port, almost everything I use that is large capacity is wired
10S but I can break them up into 2 5S packs and charge in parallel or
independently</DIV>
<DIV>-clumsy user interface</DIV>
<DIV>-no regenerative charging (yet, supposedly coming)</DIV>
<DIV>-no ability to view charging activity via USB ports (yet, supposedly
coming)</DIV>
<DIV>-no ability to program memory positions via USB (yet, supposedly
coming)</DIV>
<DIV>-lots of customizable parameters per memory position</DIV>
<DIV>-20 memory positions per port</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Like I said, I have not had any performance issues with mine tho some have
reported issues with some of the early shipments. My 820 came from the
third shipment so there may have been some fixes prior to me getting my
unit.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>It is compact and seems well built. I do think they rushed it to market to
compete with the new PL8 from FMA. It was late in delivery to the market
so that may be part of the rush.</DIV>

anyone had a chance to use the new Thunder Power TP820CD charger. I am
