PM
Subject: Re: Your Mount from Budd Eng

Hi Vince,

Thanks for
getting back to me. Yes, I rec'd the mount from Budd Engineering and
with the paper work enclosed I then realized it is Vic Koenigs mount. I
am a NSRCA member but simply do not participate in the discussion
site.

If you can, would you please correct the NSRCA disscussion(s)
that has prompted others to respond to a posting concering a mount I had made.
As I understand it, the heading of the posting was for someone to
provide my mailing address, but the underlying and obiviously intended purpose
was to encourage negative opinions of Hyde Mounts and/or bonding. A
CORRECTION to the NSRCA site should simply refer to the general context of the
incorrect posting, that basically stated: the Hyde Mount rubber became
de-bonded from the front disk during normal usage in a SPA Pattern
Plane.

The honest and genuine facts are that the ORIGNIAL rubber was
still attached to this Hyde Mount and the originial bonding was in superior
condition and DID NOT FAIL............... Also, the mount was in the age
range of approximately 8 to 15 years old, and someone attempted to apply
additional rubber utilizing a different bonding method. The added rubber
bonding is what actually FAILED/DE-BONDED!!!!!!!!!!!

SOMEONE,
obiviously not Vic Koenig, attempted to add the extra rubber, using another
bonding method and the EXTRA rubber bonding process FAILED.

Much
is misunderstood about my mounts - obiviously someone over the years did not
realize the mount was originally designed and identified as being a very very
soft mount, with confirmed vibration reduction by actual engineers, to be in
the vibration reduction range of 95%, and I suggested that design to be used
with a nose ring. Who ever had this mount, obiviously not Vic
originally, at some point in time over the past 8 to 15 years decided the
mount was too soft and decided to add additional rubber, expecting obiviously
to use it without a nose ring.

Additionally, the extra added rubber
bonding method was not even remotely similiar to my original rubber bond - and
again, MY ORIGINAL RUBBER BOND DID NOT FAIL......

Appreciate you using
many of my mounts over the years and the positive comment concerning the DA100
mount you obtained from me several years ago.

Best
Regards.

Sincerely,

Merle

Merle Hyde3 Golf View
