<table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" ><tr><td valign="top" style="font: inherit;">I know you addressed this to Mark, but I can answer parts of it:<br><br>Yes, Hacker A50-12s<br>APC 16X10E<br><br>I was running the Castle ICE 75 but am in the process of swapping it out for an ICE Lite 100. The ESC would go into over-current on the ground while trying to set the high throttle (4 seconds) using auto calibrating throttle. I found I could use high throttle for the required 4 seconds while on my downwind pass after take-off. The real answer was to go to fixed throttle end-points.<br><br>I also could not find any suitable 15X12E prop. I really don't have enough time on the plane for a final verdict on speed with the 16X10. Muncie was windy all weekend, and the plane seemed to have enough speed for my needs, BUT (yes time for the big but)<br><br>I did find the need to set the throttle curve with a lot of what amounts to reverse
exponential. My left thumb throttle settings from years of YS powered planes were too low when exiting maneuvers, so the plane was going too slow. My YS setups were essentially at full power by 2/3 stick with a lot of power below half stick. The default electric was truly a straight line and and I found myself needing to push harder on the stick to get the speed I needed. The speed was there, but concentrated on the upper end of the stick. I kept playing with the throttle curve and now am at a pretty aggressive reverse expo to get that YS "feel".<br><br><br>Bob Kane<br>

My son is currently competing with it in Intermediate and is not suffering from the slightly smaller size. It's flight characteristic fully mimic a 2m plane and it handles the wind extremely well. I would encourage anyone to try one. I've flown it through both P-11 and F-11 without any shortcomings. Power on a 5s pack is abundant (with a 16x10 prop...the 15x10 is good, but doesn't mimic the type of power the 2m planes have) giving you full vertical lines and plenty at the top.
