No not a change in throttle input. I remember clearly that the second
time it happened that I wasn't really pushing it. I agree that
something must be going bad somewhere. I have an extra CC HV85 that I
an going to swap in tomorrow. On the other hand I had an almost
similar
situation in Justin's (my son's) Angel 50 but the problem was
reproducible with full throttle even on the ground. Turned out that
that was the motor (extreme flight). I had a second setup both motor
and ESC and swapped one piece then the other.

Thanks,
> Yes the two times I heard it was on up lines advancing the
throttle. It
> did sound sort of like a timing issue. Sort of like when you first
> start a motor and it doesn't turn properly.
>> I am having an intermittent problem with my Plett Evo hooked
up to a CC
>>
> HV85
>
>> I have run the combination all year without issue. No recent
ESC settings
>>
> changes.
>
>> On 2 occasions I have heard a "high pitched funny" sound from
the motor
>>
> with loss of power both times on the vertical line. The first
time I landed
> right away found no issues and flew the rest of the day without
problems
> (thought it may have been a sound not from the plane)
>
>> This weekend the same thing happened, lowered the throttle and
re-advanced
>>
> with normal power and I was able to fly 5 more flights without
incident.
>
>> Any ideas?
