I don't believe that is entirely correct, there is a limit to the amps on motors, either through saturation or through losses in the windings.<br>
<br>
I am not an expert but what I have been told is there is a point at which torque begins to decrease with increasing amps beyond which point your power out drops with increasing power in.<br>

So in effect we are "limited"<br>
