I would say they are close. Some things actually better (can't mix out
the pull on knife edge). Some things are easier on real flight though.<br>
You should get out and find some one with a modern 2M plane and try it
though. I went from very old 120AC powered planes to the new 2M.
There was a big difference there.<br>

Thanks for the info on the Pinnacle. Do modern
pattern planes really fly this well or is this exaggerated? If so, I
guess I will have to build one. I have an old Epicure with a YS 140.

<p class="MsoNormal">They are using Phoenix 2.5 It has a pretty good
online
module with voice if you have a microphone. There is a model of the
Integral built in that can be adjusted to fly fairly well. For real
flight there is a model of the Oxai Pinnacle which is pretty good.
There
is also a skin available for it for the new newer electric version (I
made the
skin). There is also a Genesis available for download from the real
flight site. I like the Pinnacle better. On the 5th add on disc is
superstition park field which has lines on the runway for pattern. I
know
there are other pattern planes out there but that is what I have tried.<br>
