We are actually thinking about doing a little D4 migration south for a long weekend (short week) of pattern flying. I think someone mentioned Nashville, TN as possible destination but my memory is a little fuzzy. It was in response to my original question; how many hours south do I have to drive to get to decent weather for a few solid days of pattern flying. From Northeastern Ohio we figured a good 10-11 hours should get you to about 70 degrees depending on the time of year. <BR></DIV>

I have an off the wall question for the list.<BR>I'm not a winter weather person. That being said I probably <BR>couldn't live in a worst place but you have to go where the job is.<BR>When we lived in Lincoln it wasn't so bad since there was so much to do there.<BR>Since moving to Iowa 5 years ago it's been a different story.<BR>OK...enough of John's pity party.<BR>I've come up with an idea. I'm thinking about, starting next winter, going south<BR>for 5 - 7 days. Somewhere I can get a week long membership in a club, hole up <BR>in a Motel 6 and fly for a week...
