I agree, if I were looking to buy a generator for personal field use
with limited other uses I would go with the 1KW. I only got the 2KW
because it was such a screaming deal!!<br>

costs less. Mine is a 2KW (Honda) which easily handles 4 chargers or
most of the critical home power during outages. I'll defer to others on
