Dave,<br>Bear with me...I don't understand...I'm still a new guy. If the airplane can't get any bigger than 2M...how can it grow? I understand adding more wings would add additional lift, but once you've reached the length and wingspan limit what else gets bigger?<br>

Plenty of 2M airplanes existed prior to unlimited engine displacement...and<br>
they are no longer competitive today because bigger 2M plane exist. When<br>
the engine displacement limit was removed, bigger 2M came to be, and grew to<br>
the point that they are up against the weight limit. Remove or increase the<br>
weight limit, and the current 2M planes have plenty of room to grow in the<br>
2M box.<br>

This is where I am as thick as a brick. I thought the size limit was<br>
what limited the size.<br>

Apparently the major fear is that without the weight limit we would all<br>
need alcohol burning 50cc 2-meter biplanes to compete.<br>

Either that or we would have planes with 2-meter wings and a fuse that<br>
is 2-meters tall.<br>
