Yep.... they were around for a long time. Owatana used their engines to run portable hydraulic presses.<BR>
We took them apart and used them for pumping hydraulic rams to jack timber, using their rams for the <BR>
jacks.<BR>

Here's one for everybody.<BR>I just got a call from my wife at work. She had one of the plant employees in her office.<BR>They asked me if I had ever heard of an O&R engine. I have my Dad's engines from the <BR>1950's and a couple are Ohlsson & Rice. I figured I had this question nailed right?<BR>Wrong!<BR>Turns out it's some kind of power tool motor. The guy wanted Paula to bring it home to see<BR>what I could find out. A quick search revealed that they did in fact make chainsaw, pump motors, etc.<BR>Anyone else ever heard of these?<BR>JLK <BR>                                            </body>
